Deborah Kabambi, MD
Researcher in Infectious Diseases & Global Health
She has contributed to several clinical and public health research projects, with experience in study design, data collection and analysis, scientific writing, and dissemination of research findings. She has also been involved in research addressing the health consequences of epidemics, armed conflict, natural disasters, and sexual violence.
A major achievement in her research career is her role as Kavumu Site Team Leader for the SMART project at the Centre for Tropical Diseases and Global Health (CTDGH), where she contributes to the implementation of a clinical trial focused on mpox.
