A medical doctor by training and holder of a Master’s degree in Public Health, specializing in Community Health, he brings a strong combination of expertise in clinical research, field implementation, and general clinical medicine.

He has supervised clinical trials and research studies, including SMART (Smallpox Vaccine for Mpox Post-Exposure Prophylaxis: A Cluster Randomized Controlled Trial), as well as PREGMPOX, PROMISE, and SKINAIR. His experience spans the full research cycle, from study design and coordination to data quality control and analysis, while ensuring strict compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards and ethical requirements.

He has also worked with several international non-governmental organizations, including Médecins du Monde and INTERSOS, gaining extensive experience in healthcare and research implementation in field settings.
