Ahadi Irenge Christian

Clinical Pharmacist

Christian Irenge is a pharmacist, researcher, lecturer, and PhD candidate affiliated with the Centre of Tropical Diseases and Global Health (CTDGH). He holds a Master’s degree in Integrated Health Management in Low- and Middle-Income Countries, obtained through a joint program involving the University of Liège, Université libre de Bruxelles, and University of Namur in 2020. He also holds a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Official University of Bukavu (2017).

His academic and professional training includes research methodology, epidemic prevention and response, sustainable development, One Health leadership, and global health. His current doctoral research focuses on community perceptions, ethical considerations, and the feasibility of clinical trials in epidemic-prone settings.

Since 2020, Christian has been a lecturer and researcher at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Official University of Bukavu, where he has supervised around thirty undergraduate research dissertations. He also works as a clinical pharmacist at the University Clinics of Bukavu. From June 2025 to April 2026, he coordinated the Umbrella Project at the University of Kinshasa, focusing on the spatial analysis of health data.
