Internal Research Capacity Training: Developing SOPs and MOPs for Clinical Trials
The Centre for Tropical Diseases and Global Health (ICTDGH) at the Catholic University of Bukavu will host an online training session on the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and manuals of procedures (MOPs) for clinical trials. The session will be presented by Dr. Carol Héritier Bisimwa Chira.
Clinical trials rely on clear, consistent procedures. SOPs describe how recurring tasks should be performed, while MOPs bring together the practical instructions needed to run a specific study. This training will offer an opportunity to consider how these documents can support reliable research practices, coordination among study teams, and the quality of data collected.
